Death note american movie?

OK so theres a rumor that the new death note movie is supposed to star the annoying ZAC EFRON!! I hate this what are they thinking???????????????? I mean he is a psycopath...but he cannot capture the essence that is light! AND L...I heard Johnny Depp....I am a fan of his...but i think he wont be able to capture the essence of L.......their also probably gonna change the story line....and maybe make the shinigamis more "kid freindly" ugg........BUT there is a question...and it is-------WHAT IS UR OPINION ON THIS???????? and who do you think should be cast...if anyone??
