Is violent music bad religiously?

I know this might seem like a broad question but i was wondering what the different religious views are on violent/satanic music. Im asking because recently ive been listening to alot of violent rap music (artists like Necro, Brotha Lynch Hung and Ganksta NIP) where they talk about all sorts of insane stuff, and although i know it wont turn me into a lunatic i was wondering what the religious views on it is.
