Mom tried killing herself, what should I do?

My mom tried to kill herself when I was 18 - I am now 31. Your situation is different than mine, but what I do know is that you need to keep yourself safe. We love our moms, no matter what we do, we love them and we care about them because they are our moms. But as much as it may not seem like it to her - it is not showing your mom love to enable her to continue hurting herself, you and your siblings. I think it would be good to let your mom know you love her, send her notes and encouragement, but also make a stand for yourself and do what you need to do so that she does not hurt your further. Does that make sense?
